Incident management on a bridge

Group project in second year preparatory class

September to November 2022

Chemistry and Materials Science - Concrete, Formulations and Pathologies - Chemical Risks and Safety - Sustainable Development

This project, completed during my first year of preparatory classes, represents a key achievement in my academic career. Entitled "Incident Management on a Bridge," it embodies an enriching experience that strengthened my skills in the fields of chemistry, materials science, and safety.
Throughout this experience, I have developed advanced skills in chemistry and materials science, particularly in the analysis of concrete, formulations, and pathologies. I have also acquired expertise in chemical risks, safety, and sustainable development.
The central objective of this project was to propose solutions following an incident involving a chemical spill on a bridge. My involvement in this process demonstrates my ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions, while integrating considerations of sustainability and safety.
This project highlights my versatility in addressing the challenges of incident management, showcasing my in-depth understanding of the chemical and structural properties of materials used in bridge construction. It also reflects my commitment to making meaningful contributions in emergency situations while maintaining a dedication to sustainable practices.
The completion of the "Incident Management on a Bridge" project demonstrates my ability to apply multidisciplinary knowledge to solve real-world problems, thus reinforcing my position as a determined and competent engineering student.
